The company was established in 2001 as a design and build glazing contractor. With 30 direct and 30 indirect employees, Glass & A.L.U. CAD would be rated in the top 10 companies in Ireland for quality and project management skills. Our jobs range from a minimum 200 sq m to 8,000 sq m to date. We annually produce 20,000 – 25,000 sq m of façade, windows, doors and rain screen cladding. We are fully self sufficient so far as we produce all our press metal components – from flat panel through painting, insulation and EPDMs

Glass & A.L.U. CAD’s factory is one of the most modern in Ireland, with the aid of CNC Machine Centres and saws. We are currently working from a 2,000 sq m facility which houses our office, stores and factory. Under construction is a new factory which when complete will have a floor area of 3,500 sq m. This new factory will be complete in April 2009.

Our team consists of 6 draughts people, 2 project managers, 1 health and safety representative, 1 production co-ordinator, 16 fabricators, 1 estimating and purchasing manager, 1 store and stock manager. We have 30 indirectly employed fixers as subcontractors.
